4th of July

We spent the 4th of July in Grandview again this year.  It is so easy to drive down and the kids love the pool.  We all have a good time.  This year my mom did a cute them for all the food.

This year we planted more things in our garden and it is looking so good.  It is nice to be able to work more in it this year.  It is fun to see it growing so much.  Some things didn't yield as much fruit, and some didn't make it, but it is so much better than last year.

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to my parents house for Memorial day weekend.  We always have such a good time.  The pool was opened and it was beautiful weather.  It was also Jocelyn's first time swimming.  She loved it.

The kids all love playing with Jocelyn

Easter Weekend

I just have to say the holidays are so much more fun with kids.  I enjoy them so much more.  These kids have so much fun together.  Its so cute to watch them be together.

We went down to my parents house.  They were out of town, but we went down to visit my aunt.  When I drove up I saw they had a sign in their yard that their town does for Yard of the Month.  Well done with the yard mom and dad.

Happy New Year!

We spent New Years day with my parents.  It is bitter sweet.  I have so enjoyed being home taking care of my baby and every time I think about leaving her at daycare my eyes start to water.  I wish I could stay home and take care of her, but since I can't, I'm so grateful that I love my job.  And I really like my daycare provider.  So it does help me to know that she is going to be just fine.  I will look forward to picking her up everyday.

My mom loves to hold and love on Jocelyn.  I think Jocelyn likes it too. :)

New Years Eve

We went down to my parents for New Year's Eve.  It is also our anniversary, and because it was a sunday this year, we celebrated on Saturday the 30th at Olive Garden.  The food was so good.  We hadn't eaten there in so long.  They even gave us a free dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary.  It was yummy.

I can't believe we have been married 6 years.  What a ride it has been.  It keeps getting better and better.  I love you so much Jon.

For new years eve, we watched a movie, played games and had goodies and let James stay up until midnight with us.  We had a good time with him and the rest of my family.

3 months

This little girl is 3 months old.  Which means my maternity leave is quickly coming to an end.  I am not looking forward to leaving her at daycare as I go back to work.  I trust my daycare lady and know that Jocelyn will be ok, but I have been with her all the time since she was born, and I am not ready to not be around her all the time.

Another activity we did with the kids was make paper snowflakes..They thought that was cool.

James made sugar cookies with a little direction from me.  I was so proud of him for trying it by himself.

Vacation part 2

After Alder house we took the kids to the aquarium in Newport.  This is such a cool place to go.  The kids were mesmerized by everything.  There are a lot of pictures but the kids like to see pictures mostly. :)  On the way down we stopped at Depot Bay, got some salt water taffy and looked for whales while having lunch.

This was cool...the kids could put on these ponchos and blend in with the background.
