Happy New Year!!

We went down to Grandview to pick up the boys and have New Year's dinner with my family.  I also decided to make matching shirts, with my Cricut machine, to say Hello to the new year.  I thought they were all so cute, and everyone loved them.

Happy New Year!

We spent New Years day with my parents.  It is bitter sweet.  I have so enjoyed being home taking care of my baby and every time I think about leaving her at daycare my eyes start to water.  I wish I could stay home and take care of her, but since I can't, I'm so grateful that I love my job.  And I really like my daycare provider.  So it does help me to know that she is going to be just fine.  I will look forward to picking her up everyday.

My mom loves to hold and love on Jocelyn.  I think Jocelyn likes it too. :)

Happy New Year!

We are already in a new year.  It's hard to believe how fast 2016 came and went.  We had so much happen in 2016, I'm excited to see what 2017 brings.  For New Year's Day this year, we invited Jon's mom for New Year's dinner.  We had a delicious dinner and I set my china out to make the table look really nice.  It was a new thing staying home for New Year's Day, but we enjoyed it.  It was nice to spend it with my little family.

We moved our table into the addition that was just fixed up, and where the table originally was we put in an island.  I found it on Amazon and fell in love with it.  It took about 3 hours to put together, but I LOVE it!!  It looks perfect where it is at and makes our kitchen feel huge.  I would like to get some bar stools, so I can utilize the back side of it.  But until then, it is perfect.

We have been getting a lot of snow this year.  There have been several school delays, and even 2 cancellations, which the kids have loved.  It is so fun to see so much snow.

New Year

The week between Christmas and New Year, Jon and I took off from work, to get things unpacked.  We really worked on the Fruit Room storage room.  This is one of the things I fell in love with in this house.  I love how it turned out.

For New Year's Eve, Jon's mom offered to come down to watch the kids so Jon and I could go out and celebrate our 5th anniversary.  It is hard to believe it has been 5 years that we have been married.  Our life has changed in the last year, and we are in a whole different place than we thought we would be.  I can say that I never imagined my life turning out like this.

After we went out to eat, we came home and had a party with the kids.  We didn't want to miss out ringing in the new year with them.  They didn't all make it until midnight, but they did have fun.

Flowers from Jon and the Kids for my anniversary

Happy Anniversary Sweetheart!!  Here we are another year down and eternity to go.  I love you more and more each day.  I look forward to many years to come.  I love you. :)

Happy Anniversary/New Year's Eve

December 31st was Jon and my 2nd wedding anniversary.  I can't believe it has been 2 years!!  Where has the time gone?  We have had an amazing year full of blessings, and I wouldn't change it for anything.  I love Jon more today than I did the day we got married.  For our anniversary Jon had to work.  He got Christmas Eve and Christmas day off, so he had to work New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.  We didn't do a whole lot because he had to work.  We did hold a small New Year's Eve party to ring in the new year.  We had such a good time.  We had a few people show up.  Jon enjoyed having them here so that he could feel like he was a part of things.  Here are a few pictures.  Happy New Year!!!

We had such a great time with everyone.

On New Year's Day, Jon had to work, so I went down to Grandview to spend some time with my family.  We had a delicious ham dinner with Cheesy Potato Casserole.  It was yummy.  I had such a great time.  It has been a wonderful holiday season and a great 2013.  I look forward to 2014 with excitement and faith that great things are to come.  Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!!!

Since Jon had to work for New Year's Eve, I went to Grandview to ring in the new year with my family.  We just had a family party where we got out all kinds of snacks and played games.  Darin brought his girlfriend Christy to meet the family.  It was really fun to meet her.

We had a wonderful Dinner on New Year's Day.  It was so fun to spend so much time with our family.    It's hard to believe another year has come and gone.  It seems time just moves faster and faster the older I get.  This is always the time of year when I reflect on my life in the last year. This year has been a great year, but has not come without its challenges.  However, those challenges have brought Jon and me closer together with our Savior. As I look back on the last year, I see so many blessings in my life.  The Lord has truly blessed me and my family.  I am so grateful I can see those blessings, and I am grateful that the Lord is always willing to bless me for my righteousness.  We wish everyone a Happy New Year!!!
