Last day of School

Thursday was the last day of school.  The boys were pretty excited to have school be over.  I took a picture of the boys on the last day and compared it to their first day.  They have grown so much in a year.  It's so hard to believe how fast time goes by.

Malachi told us on Saturday that he was ready to have the training wheels off his bike.  So Jon got out his tools and went to work.  Malachi was so excited, especially when he was able to ride no problem.  It does look like he is going to need a bigger bike soon.

9 Months!

How can this be!!! Jocelyn is 9 months old today!!! She now has 2 bottom teeth!! One just came thru yesterday. She loves to laugh and smile. Her smile lights up a room. She loves to play with mom and is excited to see her when she comes home from work. We just moved her into 6-9 month clothes which are plenty big on her. We are so happy she is a part of our family. **She is 16 lbs 5 oz 26 inches long

He's 6!!

My little Malachi has turned 6.  He was so excited for his birthday this year.  He wanted to have the family party at Grandma & Grandpas so he could go swimming.  I don't really get many swimming pictures because I'm usually the first one in the pool.  But he sure had such a fun time.  He wanted an Oreo ice cream cake and we did a bbq for dinner.  It was a great day.

Kindergarten Graduation

Malachi had a kindergarten graduation this week.  He was so cute with his little home made cap and medal.  The kids performed a couple of songs, then they took us out to the kindergarten playground to get pictures with the kids and their teachers.  Malachi has really enjoyed school, however it has also been a tough year for him.  He was diagnosed with ADHD and we had to get him on medication.  He seems to be doing better now, and I have to say that his teacher and counselors were some of the best people to work with while we were getting this all figured out.

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken this Saturday.  We decided to have them done at the Arboretum.  It was a beautiful place, but a really bad idea.  We were eaten alive by mosquitos.  We itched for days.  Here are few pictures from our shoot.

New Bike!

James had a goal during school this year to have perfect attendance.  He got it.  His school is part of a program that if they have perfect attendance, they receive a free bike.  He was so excited to receive this bike.  I am so proud of him for having the desire to always be at school.  Way to go James!

I just love looking at this smile.

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to my parents house for Memorial day weekend.  We always have such a good time.  The pool was opened and it was beautiful weather.  It was also Jocelyn's first time swimming.  She loved it.

The kids all love playing with Jocelyn
