Jon's Birthday

Jon's birthday landed on a Saturday this year, so we decided to celebrate and go to Silverwood.  He has wanted to go for his birthday for quite a while.  This year we were able to.  We had gotten a hotel in Sandpoint, ID, but somehow that fell thru, so my cousin invited us to come and stay with them.  My uncle took us out on his boat in the morning.  After that, we met Jon's mom and niece Sophie Hochstatter at Silverwood.  We had so much fun going on all the rides.  Rex stayed with my mom and dad and we used respite for Jeremy.  Saturday night we stayed with a friend of mine in Post Falls, ID.  We had a good time visiting with them.  Sunday we headed home.  We had a great time.  Happy Birthday Jon!!  I love you!

New Kiddo

We got a phone call Friday at the reunion about another little boy.  We told them we could take him when he got back.  They told us he was almost 3 but was a failure to thrive boy.  He was wearing 12-18 month clothes.  It was such a difference from Rex who was 18 months wearing 3T clothes!  When I picked him up he was so tiny.  He felt just like a skeleton.  I had to buy a special carseat for him to sit in.  His name is Jeremy.  We have him for a while, but they are working on sending him with his Dad.

More Reunion

On Thursday we were pretty beat.  Rex was really tired and needed a nap and so we spent most of the day at home.  It was nice to rest.

This was just too cute...I think he has seen me get dressed too many times. LOL

On Friday was the start of the H Dean Naylor reunion.  We spent the day at the lake.  We did take the time to get family pictures done.

We don't see each other enough to be able to get pictures very often, so we update around family reunion time.

Saturday we started the drive back home.  We stopped in Paris, ID to see the tabernacle there.  We heard it was beautiful, so we decided to stop.  It really was a cool building.

Rex was so good everywhere we went.  He is such a happy little boy.

After the tabernacle, we stopped off in Pocatello to visit Grandma Naylor.  I haven't seen her since Grandpa's funeral, so I thought it best to stop in.  She seemed glad to see us there.  She hadn't met Jon, so it was nice to introduce him.

We drove to Boise and stayed in a Hotel for the night, then headed on home on Sunday.  It is good to be home, but we had so much fun.  It was fun to see all of our family that we got to see.  I look forward to the next family reunion.
