Thanksgiving 2019

Thanksgiving this year was at Jon's sister Darla's house.  We all went over about 11:00.  Most everyone had just woken up.  The kids had a fun time playing.  I had a hard time because I was fighting a migraine.  After dinner Jocelyn was definitely ready for a nap so I left with her and took her home for a nap.  The quiet definitely helped with my migraine.  After Jocelyn's nap we went back and had some pie.  I took a cherry pie, and boy was it yummy.  That would have to be my favorite.

The day after Thanksgiving Jon had to work.  My mom had a houseful of people so I took the kids down, so they could play with cousins and we spent the day with them.  Lisa and her family were there, Emily and her family, Brian and his family, and Adam and Brandi were all there.  We have so much fun when we get together.  One of our favorite games to play is Telestrations.  It is so funny and we all laugh so hard.

Thanksgiving 2016

Thanksgiving was spent in Yakima this year with Doug and Darla and all of Jon's family.  We spent Thanksgiving day at Darla's.

Friday after thanksgiving Jon and I bought a new car!!  Our little Rav 4 was just too small for our family.  We also just got word that we will be having a 16 year old girl coming to move in with us.  She was with us for 4 days in June and we are getting her back, so we needed something bigger.  We found a mini van but had to go to Spokane to get it.  Jon's mom stayed at our place to watch the boys, for which we were extremely grateful for.

We finally get to move into the house we bought!!!  It has been such a nightmare process with everything, but we are glad to move in.  We loaded up the UHaul on Saturday.  Unfortunately, we didn't have a ton of help to load the truck, so it took quite a while to get it loaded..Sunday we moved into the new ward and house.  We had a good 30 people come to help us unload.  We had everything from the other house unloaded in less than an hour.  We couldn't believe it!!  It went so fast.  We are excited for a bigger home, with more room.

Thanksgiving 2015

For Thanksgiving this year, we spent it down in Grandview with family.  We had so many people there.  I believe we had a total of 29 for Thanksgiving day.  I was so busy with visiting with Family that I didn't take any pictures.  But we had Emily and her family, Me and Jon, Lisa and her family, Darin and his family, Dave and Chris, Adam and Brandi and their family, Jessica, Tony and Jasmine, Mom, Dad, Grandpa and Curtis.  It was so fun to have so much family.

Thanksgiving day was on November 26th which is also Brian's birthday.  We all called and wished him a happy birthday.  And we had quite the feast.  Everything was so good.  It was so hard not to try a little bit of everything.  We definitely ate good that day.  I am so thankful for a family who taught me to know and love Jesus Christ.  I am so thankful that we are an eternal family bound by the sealing powers that are only found in the temple.  I am so thankful for the friendships I have with my family.  I love them all.

So thankful for Family!!!

This year Jon and I spent Thanksgiving with his family.   Thanksgiving was at Jon's sister Darla's house here in Yakima.  Jon and I went on Wednesday night over to Darla's to spend some time playing games with Jon's family.  We had such a good time.

We played one of our favorite games Telestrations.  It was a lot of fun.

Thursday was Thanksgiving, and Jon had to work in the afternoon.  So his family was so willing to have dinner at noon.  We had a delicious dinner and got to visit with family.  We hadn't seen everyone in quite a while, so it was good to visit with them.

Thanks for hosting Thanksgiving for us Darla.  We had a great time.

After Jon left for work, I headed down to Grandview to see more of my family.  My cousins Adam and his family were there, and so were Curt and his family.  I haven't seen Curt since before he was married.  It was so fun to see him and get to know his family.  I enjoyed talked to Jen, Curt's wife, and seeing their kids.  They have such adorable children.  We had such a fun time.

We had such a fun time visiting and playing games.  It was so great seeing family I hadn't seen in so long.  I love spending time with my family, and what a good way to see family but with a holiday.  I love this time of year, when we see how blessed we really are.  I am so thankful for my family and the close bonds we have.  They truly are my best friends.  I love you all. The next Holiday we got to celebrate was Thanksgiving.  This year we spent Thanksging with Jon's family.  They all came down to Yakima and we had dinner at Jon's sister Darla's house.  It was fun to see Jon's family and visit.  We had a good time eating and playing games.  There were a lot of us there.  Thanks everyone for coming down to Yakima.  Jon and I had a great time.
