Camping

We decided we wanted to take the boys camping.  We wanted to go up to Ohanepcosh camp ground up Mt Rainier, but they were completely full. We ended up going to Kaner Flats instead and went up to Rainier the other direction.  The boys had so much fun.  If I wasn't so pregnant I would have had a lot more fun.  I had fun, but not sure I like sleeping on the ground that pregnant.  hahaha

It was such a beautiful day.  You never know how the weather will be up there, but we seem to luck out every time we go up there.

The boys had so much fun, but they sure got tired.  They never fall asleep in the car, but we apparently did enough to finally tire them out.

4th of July

On July 3rd, I came home from work and Penny was no where to be found.  I had talked to her earlier in the morning, and everything seemed to be ok.  I had to call the agency and the police to report her as a runaway.  I feel like everything she had told us was a lie.  She said all the right things to make us excited for her.  We were even going to adopt her, and she decided she didn't want to be a part of our family.  My heart breaks knowing that she willfully left.

July 4th we spent at my parents and had a BBQ and a swim.  We had such a good time swimming.  The kids love to swim.  We had to tell Malachi that Penny was no longer with us.  He was hurt that he wasn't able to see her again.  But we know he will be fine.

During this week Malachi is spending the week with my parents.  When you go to grandmas there are always cookies to be made..

He got this paint set for his birthday

Kids always love riding on Grandpa's Tractor

Happy Birthday Malachi!

My little Malachi turned 5 on June 10th.  He was so excited for his birthday and for all the family that was going to be coming.  Because of road construction my parents were late, so things got started later than planned.  But that didn't bother Malachi...he was just so excited to have everyone coming.

He was so excited for all his gifts.  Thanks everyone for coming.
