Boo to you

I am working from home, so while I am working she is really good to be able to just lay here and sleep.  This was just too cute a picture not to post.

We held our annual Halloween Party this year, and invited some new people.  We invited the McKee and Baugh families over to celebrate Halloween with us.  We had a dinner and then played some games.  For dinner we had brains (spaghetti), Mummies (hot dogs wrapped in biscuites) and dracula teeth (Cookies with marshmallow teeth)

The other families brought side dishes to eat with our food.  It was a lot of fun and they all liked the food.  After dinner we played several games.  Limbo, Pictionary, bobbing for donuts and we just visited and laughed.

Everyone was such a good sport and dressed up.  It was fun to see all the costumes.

And us.  Woody and Jessie, Darth Vader, Optimus Prime and a Lilly.  Jocelyn's costume was huge, but she was so cute in it.  With how small she is, maybe she can wear it again next year.

This isn't a picture from Halloween, but this outfit was given to us by one of Jon's co workers, and it is too cute not to have it documented. ;)

On Halloween we carved pumpkins to put out but also for our ward Halloween Party.  Jon and I both won a prize for our pumpkins.  I'm glad we did it.  It was a lot of fun.

Nesting

I am getting into the final month of my pregnancy and I am definitely nesting.  I want to get the baby's room done before she comes so I asked some members in the ward to come and help paint her room.  I have a great idea for decorating, but I am ready to have it done.  So the Holden's and the McKee's came to help paint.

I absolutely love how this turned out.  We have a few more coats of paint we need to put on the crib and changing table then add decorations and it will be done. I can hardly wait to see the finished product.

Adoption Day!!

What a great day today was.  We finally adopted the boys!!!  It was so fun to have so much family there with us.  We were the last adoption of the day, but it was so worth the wait.  We have these two cuties with us forever.  We also closed our foster care license today.  We are done doing foster care.

We are so excited to have these boys as a part of our family.  Thank you to everyone who came and supported us.

After the adoption we went out to celebrate by having dinner at El Porton.

Jon's birthday is on the 23rd so we sang Happy Birthday to him also.

It's been a great day.  I'm so glad to be the mom of these 2 boys. They are so sweet and special and the smartest boys.  We love them so much.
