Sad News

We have recently found out that Rex is going to be going home.  I am heartbroken.  I was originally told mom wasn't doing well at all and the likelihood of us adopting Rex was pretty high.  We have now been told that isn't going to happen.  My heart has never hurt so much.  He is my little boy.  He will be leaving October 3rd, and I am so not ready for it.  It worries me that Rex will never remember me.  I just pray that some day he will recognize the gospel and the feeling of the spirit and join the church some day.  I love that boy with all of my heart, and having him leave is the hardest thing I have had to experience.

During all of this really sad news, we got a call about 2 boys that the case has gone towards termination.  Court date is set, but they would like to know if we would like these boys.  We should be able to adopt for sure.  They are 8 and 4.  I don't know how I can open my heart again for a chance of disappointment.  It's hard to think I could love another child as much as I have loved Rex and Jeremy.  We decided we would try things out and have them for respite to see how we do.  So they came for respite.

I took them down to the dinosaur park in Granger.  They had a great time.

This is Malachi

The boys love to help us out.  Here they are helping Jon do laundry.  They were just so cute.

We have decided to take James and Malachi since the possibility of adopting is 98%.  So we will get the for respite for another weekend, and then they will move with us permanently.

Birthday Party and Family fun

My nephew Aiden had his birthday party this weekend, and we took the boys.  They had a bouncy house there and the boys LOVED it!!  They had a hard time getting out.  They just jumped and jumped.  They did play with Grandma on the swing set also.  It was so fun to see how much fun they were having.

One of the boys' favorite things to do is to wrestle with daddy.  I remember growing up my siblings and I would always wrestle with dad all the time.  So this brings back memories when the boys want to do this.
