New things

The boys have be asking about my beads that I have seen downstairs, and asked if I could show them how to make bookmarks.  So Saturday I got out my beads and helped the boys make bookmarks.  I was surprised how much they enjoyed it.  I always enjoy getting my beads out.  We had to bring Jocelyn to join in the fun. She just loves to be a part of things.

This little girl is just cute in everything she wears and everything she does.  We just love her.

James has started working on his faith in God award.  One of the requirements is to teach a Family Home Evening lesson on Joseph Smith.  James did a great job.

We decided to surprise my mom for her birthday and met her, my dad, and grandpa at El Porton in Zillah. She had no idea we were coming so it was fun when she showed up and there we were at the door waiting for her.  The kids love spending time with Grandma and Grandpa.

We got home and Jocelyn's foot was sticking out of the car seat.  I thought it was so cute to see her little foot there.

4 months!

Where has the time gone?!?  This princess is 4 months old today.  It took so long for us to get her, and now she is just growing too fast.  She is still small compared to most 4 month olds, but she feel so big for us.  She is starting to push herself up with her arms.  She is going to start rolling over soon.  She loves to smile to everyone she meets.  She is just sweet.  Her feet are still just too small to keep any kind of footwear on, sock, shoes, slippers.  She is still wearing 0-3 month clothes, which is great because she has soooo many!!  I can't believe how many clothes this little girl has.  That's the perks of having a cousin born 9 months earlier.  They all come our way. :)  She loves to be a part of everything, and loves being able to sit up.  We did a little photo shoot this afternoon with her.

Firsts

I went back to work on January 2nd.  I had to leave Jocelyn for the first time since she was born.  She has been with me everyday for the last 3 1/2 months.  It was so hard to leave her at the daycare.  I was in tears as I handed her over to my daycare lady. I couldn't believe how much I cried.  When I put her down, I realized I left her milk at home so I had to run back home and get some so she could eat.  Then it started all over again.  I just couldn't leave my little girl there.  I wish my work had a daycare I could just put her in, or better yet, I wish I could stay home and take care of her.  I was so excited when I got to go pick her up.  It is my favorite part of the day.  I just love this little girl.

The first time I heard Jocelyn laugh was on the 6th of January.  It was the cutest thing ever.  I was talking to my mom on Facetime, and Jocelyn was sitting on my lap watching.  My mom and I started laughing about something and all of a sudden she started laughing!!!  It was so cute and there was no way I could record it!  She laughed so much.  Every time after that, we would try to record her laughing and once she would see the phone come out, she would stop...the little stinker. :)  We were finally able to sneak up on her and record it.

Happy New Year!

We spent New Years day with my parents.  It is bitter sweet.  I have so enjoyed being home taking care of my baby and every time I think about leaving her at daycare my eyes start to water.  I wish I could stay home and take care of her, but since I can't, I'm so grateful that I love my job.  And I really like my daycare provider.  So it does help me to know that she is going to be just fine.  I will look forward to picking her up everyday.

My mom loves to hold and love on Jocelyn.  I think Jocelyn likes it too. :)
