New Years Eve

We went down to my parents for New Year's Eve.  It is also our anniversary, and because it was a sunday this year, we celebrated on Saturday the 30th at Olive Garden.  The food was so good.  We hadn't eaten there in so long.  They even gave us a free dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary.  It was yummy.

I can't believe we have been married 6 years.  What a ride it has been.  It keeps getting better and better.  I love you so much Jon.

For new years eve, we watched a movie, played games and had goodies and let James stay up until midnight with us.  We had a good time with him and the rest of my family.

Christmas

This year for Christmas we stayed home and hosted Jon's family.  We had several of Jon's family come for Christmas Eve.  Doug and Darla, Melinda and Brandon, and Brookel and Roscoe came, along with Jon's Dad Brent and his wife Gerri, and Jon's mom Dee came.  We had so much fun.  We even did a gift exchange that was a lot of fun.

We had such a good time with everyone here.  Thanks all for coming.

Because it was snowing, several people had to leave early.  When they were gone we frosted the sugar cookies.

Then we had family home evening where we read the Christmas story from Luke 2 and sang songs.  Then I had spent the week making pajamas and boy did the kids love them.  I think they turned out pretty good.

Then the boys put out cookies for Santa and put out their stockings.

Christmas morning was a lot of fun.  I didn't get many pictures, but here are a few.

3 months

This little girl is 3 months old.  Which means my maternity leave is quickly coming to an end.  I am not looking forward to leaving her at daycare as I go back to work.  I trust my daycare lady and know that Jocelyn will be ok, but I have been with her all the time since she was born, and I am not ready to not be around her all the time.

Another activity we did with the kids was make paper snowflakes..They thought that was cool.

James made sugar cookies with a little direction from me.  I was so proud of him for trying it by himself.

Trolley ride with Santa

I found out that in our town, you can get a trolley ride with Santa for only $5.  So we decided to take the boys.  We didn't tell them what we were doing, so when they got there, they were so excited to see what we were doing.  It was actually really cool.  I had never done it before, and it was sure a lot of fun.
