Jon's Birthday

Jon turned 32 on July 23.  That night at the Pippins it was $2 night.  So for Jon's birthday we went to the Pippins game and invited friends to go with us.  I even invited several in Jon's family.  His mom drove down for Moses Lake to spend the day with him, and his sister and brother in law who live here in Yakima also went.  Jon had such a great time.  The Pippins even won that night.  It was really a lot of fun.

On the 24th, I invited up my family for a dinner for Jon's birthday.  I made homemade pizza, which is always delicious.  We had a wonderful time visiting.  Happy Birthday Jon!

Earl Noble Family Reunion 2015

The Noble reunion was at my parents house this year on July 16-18th.  Most of the reunion was either spent by the pool or visiting out at the tables in the shady front yard.  It was so fun to see everyone that was there.  Some people I hadn't seen in so long, and some people I had either met for the first time, or they met Jon for the first time.

This little cutie pie was just so much fun.

Amy brought this real fun game for the kids.  She had this big tape ball that had toys and treats wrapped in it.  The kids would roll dice and when they got doubles they got the tape ball.  The next person would get the dice and while they were rolling the person with the tape ball would unroll it and pull off the candy or whatever prize they got.  It was a lot of fun.

The kids loved it and had so much fun.

It was so fun to watch all the kids play with their cousins.  This family reunion was so fun.  It was very similar to the ones I had growing up.  All of the cousins running around and playing.  And just visiting with one another.  It is always so nice to catch up with my family.  I am so grateful for my family and that we are together for eternity.

More Home Improvements

Jon and I have been working to do some improvements around the house.  We decided to change the clasps on the doors, into magnetic clasps, and we changed the drawer handles.  Jon works really hard to do some of these things I want him to do.

Vacation - part 3

The night we got back from hiking we went to the pier and went crabbing.  We only caught 1 crab but it was cool.

On Thursday the 25th, Emily took us to Hidden Beach.  You can only get to this beach at low tide.  When it is high tide, there is no beach.  This was so cool.  We walked way down the beach to some tide pools, where we saw all kinds of sea urchins, star fish, hermit crabs, and all other kinds of sea life.

The waves were so big.  It was so fun to see.

We had such a great time going to the beach.  I think I could live by the beach.

On our last day, Jeremiah decided to take the day off and they took us up to the Smith River where it gets a lot hotter.  We spent the day swimming and playing in the river.  We had such a blast.

Jacob and Jeremiah rerouted a small little spring into a river.  It was pretty cool.

One night at Emily's we finally got some wind in Crescent City and decided to fly kites again.  Jon had a good time, although I had to pick his kite up every now and then.

We did go out a couple of times.  We had such a blast spending time with Emily's family.  It was such a relaxing vacation, and much needed for us.  Emily thanks for opening your home to us.  We had so much fun hanging out with your family for the week.
