Family Visitors

Brian and his family were in Grandview for a week visiting in between semesters.  It was so fun to visit with them.  We hadn't seen them for a year.  This was the first time I was able to see Ezra.  By the time I saw him he was already 6 months old!!  He was so fun and cute.

Thomas loved Grandpa.  He followed him around everywhere.  Thomas was right there whenever Grandpa was working in the yard.  He was so cute.  He reminds me so much of my brother Brian.  Brian was the same way when he was little.

Kids wrestling with Grandpa.  I don't know how many times my brothers and sisters and I did that.  But I remember we had such a fun time wrestling dad.  It was fun to see the grand kids doing that as well.

Cute little Ezra in the Johnny Jump Up!  He doesn't quite have the jumping down yet, but he sure likes sitting in it.

Jon and Ezra

Jon decided to help dad by mowing the lawn.  I'm sure he just wanted do drive the tractor.  He had never done it before.  He did a really good job.

On Saturday we were all together to meet Lori's boyfriend.  We had a bbq and enjoyed visiting with him and getting to know him better.  On Sunday he came over again for dinner and to visit.

We had such a good time visiting with family and meeting Stuart.  We always have such a good time with our family.

Swim day

On July 14, Jon organized a Halo Video game day with some of the Elder's in the ward.  While he was doing that, I decided I was going to invite the wives and we were going to go swimming.  I was a little worried because it was cold early in the week.  But when Saturday came, the sun was out and it was supposed to be in the 80s.  Which is still a little cold to swim, but when we got to mom's house in Grandview the water was warm enough to swim.  We had such a good time.  We were there from about 2:30 to 7:00.  The girls had lots of fun, and it was just nice to get together and visit with one another and have a relaxing day.

It was so fun to be able to take that time and visit.  Thanks mom for letting us borrow the pool.  We all had such a great time.

It's a dumb dinner!!

Every once in a while we have been known to have people over for dinner on Sunday afternoons. It is always fun to have people over.  On Sunday June 8th we invited the Wiberg family over for dinner.  I decided I wanted to do a special dinner that they would always remember.  Growing up, a lady in the ward would always have our family over for dinner to celebrate my parents birthdays. Their birthdays are both in January, so we would always go there.  She introduced us to a dumb dinner.  I thought this was the perfect family to have a dumb dinner with.  Here are some fun pictures I got during our dinner.

The Wibergs were such good sports. They loved it so much, they have talked about doing it themselves.  It has been over a month since we did this, and they still talk about it.  Thanks guys for joining us.  We had a lot of fun.
